Panarea, a magical island for a sailing holiday

We accompany you to an island of surprising warmth: Panarea, the smallest of the Aeolian Islands and the most fashionable.

It’s an ideal destination for everyone to regenerate. Recreational for the body but also for the mind. If you have chosen to spend a wonderful holiday without giving up the glamorous life, then Panarea is the island for you, and the best way to ‘experience it’ is on board a boat.

The island of Panarea is exclusively volcanic. The coasts affected by the lava and the protruding black rocks are typical of these coasts.

So we recommend using our catamarans for luxurious and safe navigation. These boats’ double-hulled nature makes them stable across the rocky waters, also capable of offering a large space to live in company.

Panarea aboard a catamaran

We suggest renting a catamaran well in advance; this type of boat is ideal for experiencing this corner of paradise at 360 °.

A myriad of rocks and islets that surround it, almost an “archipelago within the archipelago” to visit paying close attention to the outcropping rocks, but if you have opted for a rental with Skipper on board then do not worry, it will lead you skillfully in the bays most beautiful and exclusive to let you discover all the shades of blue at various times of the day.

A good skipper will take you to Dattilo, with its caves of sulfur and crystallized alum, and then continue in the warm waters of Basiluzzo. On this islet, now uninhabited, with walls overlooking the sea and almost inaccessible, there remains an ancient Roman villa.

Breathtaking sea and social life: a perfect mix

The island of Panarea is unique and exclusive; today, it is famous for its worldly life and eclectic character.

Visitors are fascinated because it can offer unique experiences surrounded by an intriguing atmosphere. Uncontaminated landscapes, sometimes rough, and small corners of paradise make Panarea one of the most popular Sicily region places.

We advise those who practice diving to visit ‘Le Formiche‘, a very suggestive dive site the mouth of an inactive crater represents it.

In 2011 it was described by W magazine as “the epicenter of the chicest summer scene in the Mediterranean“.

A magical island for couples in love

We recommend renting a sailboat to cruise in complete tranquility in the emerald waters for the most romantic. A destination that not to be missed for couples is undoubtedly the Lovers’ Cave in Lisca Bianca, where legend has it that those who kiss will remain united forever.
