For lovers of diving, the island of Favignana offers beautiful locations in which to dive with different levels of difficulty.
Galeotta, one of the easiest diving spots to reach, is a small islet animated by intense life underwater, so much so that it is frequent to meet the herds of bream and salps, octopus and moray eels. Another undemanding dive, but not without charm, is the one in Cala Rotonda. In fact, inside you can meet ombrine, crows, conger eels and moray eels.
The Secca del Toro, 40 meters of wall, is instead suitable for intermediate-level experienced divers and is considered the most beautiful dive on the island. It is characterized by a variety of species and exciting colors such as yellow and red gorgonians, a multitude of parazoanthus and spirographs, branches of gerardia savaglia, known as false black coral. There are also lobsters and lobsters. Often you can meet herds of barracuda that inhabit the shoal.
Another dive suitable for experienced divers is the one at the Scoglio Corrente. It is a point characterized by the very strong currents from which this rock takes its name.
